COG Cinemas is short for Children of God, emphasizing that we are many parts to a greater family. At the same time, COG can be pronounced as "cog," or a gear that you find in watches or machines. I have an amazing fascination with watches because of each one's uniqueness designed by the hands that crafted them. And each watch was designed from the ground up to work in a certain fashion, determined by the clockwork inside. Because each cog in the machine plays an integral role in the function of the machine itself, without one working to its fullest potential for which it was made, the machine wouldn't be able to function as originally intended.
Simply put, we were created to create - part of a greater machine.
